Backup & restore channels

hello,
I downloaded the latest version 20190725.
After upgrading via USB, Favorite channels disappeared.
l rolled back to older dump they reappeared.
is there a way to upgrade firmware via USB and maintain favorite channels?
is ther a way to Backup & restore channels without touching the firmware version?
please help
