My dear friend, can you be specific because my WiFi adapter is working well with powervu key update.. If I may suggest you try a different WiFi adapter or probably the pins that hold the adapter have loosen.

My wi-fi device is detected but cannot display any wifi hotspot. When I press green button nothing, when I press red button to refresh no result. It used to be ok.The usb wifi adapter is ok when plugged to another receiver Skybox A6 model.

Dear friend from observation, I think the box is not detecting the device producing the hotspot..if you can reset your hotspot device... maybe the problem will be solved..

You may also flash the box with the original software (online upgrade) and see if the issue will be resolved... sometimes ,also noticed that the USB port does not have good contact with the Wi-Fi adapter.

Thanks for the tips. Wherever I turn on the receiver it indicates wifi is on, but going to network settings the box can't display any available wifi hotspots. I've been using my phone as hotshot which used to work on same receiver. Maybe I'll try the old flash file as the I just flashed the new file update 5 2020. This receiver had this problem in the past maybe 2 or 3 times but eventually it was back to normal. But this time no. Will try the old flash next.

Me too have the same issue after the 2020 update... it doesn’t show any wifi devices..... pls help me in resolving the issue

Update: The wifi adapter is detected but can't detect nearby wifi hotspot.

With the latest firmware 5 22 2020 flashed. Did a factory reset(channels and user data erased). Blind scan one satellite. This time the wifi adapter functioned normally.

There is a simple solution, if the wifi shows detected, but can't connect or search to any hotspot, then make your settopbox as close to hotspot/router/phone device so that almost the signal levels are 100 percent. Search again for available hotspots it will turn up with available ones.
This worked for me.
