Hellobox8 support SmartTV，you can download APK from http://api.dvbplayer.com/static/DVBPlayer.apk，put this APK file on the U disk and install it on the smart TV.

Tried this way still dose not work even I tried using it through ethernet cable ,it can detect the box but for some reason it shows the message getlist failed,i like to use the hellobox s2 because I can hide it behind my smart tv(android tv) and can control both with one remote(TV Remote)

Is the live list good? Upgrade to the latest version and try again(APP and Smart S2).

Thanks it is working now, the problem was the usb source that was from the shield,I have connected it to a source capable at least of giving 2A so that how it works, However I notice that making favorite is not available yet in the dvb player app would you put that in the next update

Adding fav functionality already exists, Menu-channel ，press “right arrow” to add fav

So there is no search to add fav it is hard to look for channels in the list without search function one more thing what is the forwarding port so we can open it in the router?
