Picture of channel freezes mostly but sound is continuosly ON. this happens to my android box X96 max+ with s905X3 processor 4gb/64gb android 9.0, by changing chanel and again coming back will unfreeze the video for some time only. however this picture freeze problem is not with my mobile android 6.0,

picture freeze problem is from start when i bought smart s2 & i think at that time dvbplayer 3.4 or 3.6 was there.

anyone having similar issue??

Isn't there a program that shows normally?

even vlc freezes video.
but as i think the problem is with android tv box b/c in freezed video the recording button on dvbplayer app records perfectly while showing freezed video on tv. it means on freezed video on backend video is perfectly running only HDMI signal stops frames of video. even on freezed video all other menu of dvb player is showing and working,
after searching d solutions on internet i found that either HDMI not handling alot of data
or video resolution is not matching with tv resolution
or HDMI cable issue,
or video driver issue in android box

note: this problem is only with dvb plauer app, youtube 1080p is easily workjng on same setup without any issue.

I have recently installed custom rom and tested few hours of dvbplayer no any freezez found yet. but i m not 100% sure that problem is solved or not.

I will upload more detials after 100% of confirmation.

is ur tv box rooted? if it is rooted try unrooted device or unroot it. this may solve ur problem.


but b carefull when dealing with root and unroot.

Hi, it seems I have already found the problem. I had Adguard installed on my tv box and it seems that it interferes with the DVBViewer application. Disable Adguard for DVBViewer and image freezes are fixed. Now DVBViewer works fine.

I don't have Adgaurd in X96 max plus 2 box, may be another application conflicting with DVbplayer.

However i have tested three of Custom roms available on 4pda.com, and only one was found good for DVBplayer and currently i m using it without any freezes.

Problem still exists in custom Rom also.
