I kindly ask the developer to add support for the Android TV platform,
particularly for Xiaomi Mi Box S.
If possible, include Live Channels support, that would be great!

Smart TV is supported.

You are right, I installed the DVBPlayer.apk from its site
(I couldn't install from the Play Store, it seems officially it is not for Android TV),
and it works perfectly on my Xiaomi Mi Box S with Pie.
Thank you very much.

If possible, please rebuild DVBPlayer to be also an Android Tv ("leanback") app,
otherwise it becomes hidden among system apps and does not show up
among regular apps (although the Sideload launcher app can be very useful).
