how to upgrade Hellobox V5 plus through RS232 serial port?

1. Copy bin file to a USB device and change to the file name to "hellobox _ V5 _plus.bin"
2. Insert the USB device to Hellobox V5 Plus Support and receiver
3. Connect Hellobox V5 plus with computer through RS232 cable
4. Run "WinSTBUpgrader.exe "on computer
5. Select and Open serial port
6. Click" download "page, select the config file " V5 _plus_8M.xml "
7. Click" Start "
8. Power on Hellobox V5 plus, and wait ...
After upgrading is done, Hellobox V5 plus will reboot automatically.

What does the cable look like? I have a USB to RS232 cable that I can use with the program. Is the cable a straight through or does it have to have data pins 3 & 4 reversed? I cannot restore V5 Plus using this method. Any additional information is welcome. My unit will not reboot after doing factory reset!!!

I ended up getting a null modem adapter for the cable and that seemed to do the trick. Otherwise it is a standard rs-232 straight through cable.
