3826 H 6649 on Gal-16 @99W hangs receiver
I did a blind scan of Gal-16 at 99W and scanned in three channels at 3826 H 6647. The first channel is FOX and the second is NBC. The third channel is THIS and can be received on another receiver without problem. If I go to this channel the receiver locks up and I must power cycle the unit. It will hang again on powerup if I do not constantly push the up/down channel button to get off the channel during powerup. I think the channel is 480I, H.264, and AC3. This unit does it every time, so the software people have a 100% repeatable test case. BTW, these channels are FTA. Can you fix this please?

They were told about this problem since March 2019 and have not corrected it yet.AZCoder wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:19 pmI did a blind scan of Gal-16 at 99W and scanned in three channels at 3826 H 6647. Because this box doesn't support ac3 stream, we can't control it, so as long as we play this program (ac3), there will be a crash. sorry about that.AZCoder wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:19 pmI did a blind scan of Gal-16 at 99W and scanned in three channels at 3826 H 6647. It seems to me that the software could just mute that channel and not handle any audio output from it. This would at least keep the unit from hanging and have to be rebooted. Maybe if the firmware programmer thought about it a minute, there may be a simple fix to stop the hangs.fenddick wrote: ↑Mon Sep 23, 2019 5:43 amBecause this box doesn't support ac3 stream, we can't control it, so as long as we play this program (ac3), there will be a crash. sorry about that.AZCoder wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2019 6:19 pmI did a blind scan of Gal-16 at 99W and scanned in three channels at 3826 H 6647.
