Include TS delay?
plz wait.
Oke thank you bro.
I hope you can add these to next update :
1. Dedicated button to open CA Settings
2. New menu to wipe / delete all entered bisskey (i have to delete a key or more because the feed have same frequency, since hellobox is auto-biss, it will getting new bisskey automaticly)
3. Improved color quality, it has washed out color compare to GX9922 chipset receiver that I also have. I've tray to put more chroma but it doesn't help much.
4. If you switch the audio, it got muted audio and have need to switch channel to make it work.

Thankyou for your attention and support.

firmware update:
  • Optimize standby time
  • Fixed bug
Hellobox programmers i am amazed at your work with optimize standby time on this firmware 202001027A
The optimization of the time in the standby mode is made in such a way that the processor remains under full load all the time that the working mode and that the standby mode - is done in such a way that hellobox dies faster.

On firmware (which I myself tested) from 20200522 to 20200904
standby mode works as it should in load mode 0.2 W

The question: is what errors have been fixed?

They remain uncorrected:
1. Problem with long recording - if the video file is over 4 GB.
2. TIMESHIFT does not work with encrypted channels (freezes at 00:00:00)
, but everything works fine with open channels.

I have already described these problems in this thread on the forum. http://www.freedvb.com/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=18919

Well, if it's been working before the upgrade then, do a factory reset deleting all and do a fresh scan..

Hi,
I have made some measurements, after a minute that Hellobox 8 with the latest firmware is in standby mode, power consumption goes back to being almost null. My DIY tool shows 0.00 A

Power ON

just put in standby

After a minute that is in standby mode the consumption returns to almost 0, the photo was taken a few minutes later, when I noticed the thing.

Later, I'll take measurements with a tester.

(it would seem standby time has not been optimized, time runs forward)

Regards

You checked with firmware 20200904 (released at the beginning of September, he clock in standby mode is in a hurry for a dayby 16 minutes and the standby mode is normal (the load on the processor is minimal).
But with the firmware 202001027A released on October 27, things are different - the transition to standby mode, the processor remains under full load (the controlled signal does not fall on the standby mode electronic key (1MQ2 according to the scheme)); therefore, the processor does not go into standby mode and remains under full load and the voltage at the output of the LNB is also constantly applied (the heads on the satellite antenna remain energized in standby mode, which in standby mode should not be) But the clock with this full processor load in standby mode runs exactly a minute per minute.
