even after using Hello Merger Tool v1.4 , IR remote not working., PANEL Buttons working but IR Remote not working.

Solid 8181 uses the newer cs8051 chip which supports h265 codec

This firmware is meant for the older cs8001 chip which supports till h264 codec

It is not h.265 compliant. For 8mb chip use rs232 to flash

I have koqit u2 red version with montage cs8001 chipset where the original firmware size 8192Mb. My question is..can i upgrade that box with this firmware ? should i rename the file name to auto_burn.fac ?

thanks, working good in A3 & A6 Montage receivers, only problem is the scam it is not working most of the time

no, the remote didn't work.I replaced ir1 and ir2 with CCTEdit program. Now the remote works.
here for the red koqit u2 with a working remote.

It replaced the ir files successfully but only works with 128k files.
