I bought this Hellobox v8 new version STB and havent used it at all due to its poor functionality. Since 21 August i receive this product still now just had to put it away in its box as it was. On first day i plugged my decoder, it will boot well but only to find out that after a minute the docoder will FREEZE and not respond to anything... tv will display NO SIGNAL. when i uplug the charger and reconnect it again everything goes normal.. boot then few seconds it will freeze and no response to either remote, built in buttons and on tv display "no signal". sOMETIMES after so many retries by unpluging and plug back the charger it wont even display anythng to tv screen... but on decoder display it will write "0000" or "----" or "boot" and then thats all nothing happens. Normally it tend to boot well after i unplug the charger for a long time but the problem will arise again after a minute.
I bougght this decoder on alibaba, i notified the seller and i was adviced to do network update it after i did usb update but nothing worked. i have sent video and picture evidence and seller was also surprised and to be told that evidence will be sent to technicians to look at it. I saw it taking long therefore i engaged alibaba on the issue and waiting for resolution..
Yeah thats my experience with this new hellobox v8 after so long of using hellobox v5hd, so i decided to upgrade but things are not right... not really happy with
